I came up with: Litholmo, Rock type evolution of Magcargo, looks like a rock pile with eyes and no limbs Bamzoo, the Bamboo pokemon. Appears to be an arthropod made of Bamboo. Grass type. Attacks include Slash, Leaf Blade, Razor Leaf and Cut. Pyroserow, a Fire type resembling a goat. Lives on volcanic slopes, feeding on barbequed remains of pokemon foolish enough to climb the volcano. Sparkleast, the preevolution of Plusle and Minun. A Normal type pokemon whose evolution is based on its attack and defense stats at level 15. + attack = Plusle + defense = Minun Finally, an unnamed oddity: a Rock type that evolves into a Normal/Flying type. Starts out looking like a stone chicken with a serpent's tail, then ends up as a toucan/hornbill sort of a pokemon. (I don't have access to a scanner so I can't send in these in picture form, sorry.) I also would like to see a swan pokemon. And a colorful/graceful bird-of-prey of some kind that would fit my original character. Powerful, but small enough to fit on someone's shoulder. Long tail. Moon Stone - some Normal evo Leaf Stone - some Grass evo or maybe a Grass/Poison evo. I have a cool drawing of it, but I think it's in my locker at school. It had a really cool tail, kind of like a flower that hasn't bloomed yet with little pollen things comming out of it (I think those are called stomata, if I remember correctly from bio last year). I like the name Iveeon. Sun Stone - I guess it would be a Grass evo, but I'm still working on this one. Metal Coat - some Steel evo that would look sleek and awsome. I kind of like the name "Ironeon" (pronounced I-RON-EE-ON). Dragon Scale - some pure Dragon evo. That would be awsome. I kind of like the name "Dragoneon" (pronounced DRAG-ON-EE-ON). I was also thinking of Pokémon that you can get by maxing out Cool/Smart/Tough/Cute. Milotic is the incarnate of Beauty, so I'm thinking about Pokémon that would be the incarnate of Coolness, Smartness, Toughness, and Cuteness. Way back around 2000 I designed a Persian evolution -called Persathy- beceause it has thin stripes on its coat like the thylecines (or "Tasmanian Tigers) who lived in south Australia until the first half of the 20th century. It has psycic ablities as well as steel, since there is a large blade at the end of it's tail. Also, we need more Ice types! No more of this Seel Swinub Spheal stuff, I'm talking about sleek and elegant ice (and not ice/water) types. Articuno and dewgong must be tired of being the only beautiful ones in thier element! I'm not sure, but it might come up in the fifth gen. >_O I've come up with an Ice Legendary. His (that's right, he's a BOY! NOT genderless!) name's Famaer, and he's an Ice wolf. He's pretty fluffy, cream colored and bluish white fur with stripes around his back, face and appendages. He also has tufts of fur, like a lynx or caracal. I love him. A Dragon type Eevee would be bitchin, but unlikely. Question: Do you consider Eevee and its evos to be canine or feline? Revised repost is revised. -A tassie tiger pokemon that's Dark type...possibly a ground or rock type as its secondary type. It can however has a decent movepool to counteract its weaknesses. It can be interchanged from physical sweeper to annoyer . I'm think that if it has an evo it would be a Thylacleo(sp). Capturing these guys will be difficult because they're rare and will flee a battle often. -A Sharpedo evo that's based on a Megalodon. It gains greater stamina at the cost of speed. Evoloves via awakening stone. -A ground-type Tamandua pokemon that uses its claws for digging and fighting, and its tail as a club. Has a nice Sp. Attack/ Attack but its defenses? No so much. Its Evo being a giant anteater pokemon makes up for that being a Ground/steel tank. Has neat speed for a ground type. Lastly, a semi-legendary pokemon dark/fighting type with two forms. When active, it's a Curselax wanna-be. Asleep and it's a sweeper(but without all that nice defense its active mode has D:). See my avatar for its picture. I agree there should be a Light type cause isnt Psychic the opposite of Ghost. They have some relations but they aren't complete opposites. Dark and psychic are certainly more so. I mean, sure psychic is weak against dark in games for the sake of fairness in battling, but it doesn't mean they aren't opposites. I still base that psychic is the light type because Espeon is the sun pokemon. And its counterpart is a dark pokemon, umbreon the moon pokemon. And... why Missingno.'s Bird-type is extraneous. Anyone know the exact weaknesses that Bird has? I'm thinking seventeen types is more than enough. They need to balance them out more, though. There were only five new Fire-types introduced in DP, three were the starters, one evolved from an old Pokйmon, and one was legendary. Water's getting HUGE. Unnecessarily so. About the Psychic/Dark antithesis thing, there hasn't been a Pokйmon of that type combo yet. Maybe an evolution of Girafarig? After all, it learns Crunch, why not give it STAB? So anyway, my thoughts would be that they should keep introducing new type combos. Normal's not been paired up with thirteen of the sixteen it could be, though that probably has reason. Next Fire starter I hope has a final form that has a new secondary type. Maybe Poison or Rock? For that second one it'd have to be volcano-related for sure. Which is reflected in it's movepool, which has attacks like trick, sneak, covet and thief. Or maybe pokйmon with breeding group combinations that haven't been done. I'm surprized that the Ralts line isn't a part of the Humanshape egg group. It would have been a very nifty bridge bettween the Inderminate and Humanshape egg groups. You could come up with all kinds of new pokйmon just by egg groups alone. Dragon/Fairy Plant/Mineral Inderminate/Water 3... there are all kinds of combinations that haven't been done. Appearance: Brawlgre looks like a Hitmonlee gone Incredible Hulk (but it's still brown). It has a head and face the looks like Machoke's but it has sharper teeth and two horns instead of bony plates. Lunogre Species: Ogre Pokemon Type: Dark Ability:Vengeance-Powers Up Dark moves when Hit Points are 1/3 or lower. Appearance: Lunogre looks like Brawlgre only with dark gray skin and long, silvery hair as opposed to horns. Lunogre wears a half-shell necklace with a bronze pendant with a crescent moon on it. Monogre Species: Ogre Pokemon Type: Normal Ability:Reserve Strength-Attack and Special Attack doubles when Hit Points are 1/3 or lower. Appearance: Monogre is an almost pale-white variation of Brawlgre. Monogre has a single horn on its head. Monogre's posture is like that of a gorilla (Monogre's hunched over, supporting it's weight on its knuckles and short legs). EDIT: Here's some more ideas: Ricskid Species: Balletfight Pokemon Type: Fighting Evolves into: Ricsia at Lv. 15 Gender Distribution: Female-100%, Male-0% Ability: Bravery-Fighting and Normal type moves are effective against Ghost-types. Appearance: Ricskid looks like Ralts in Hitmonchan's outfit. She has blond hair that doesn't block the eyes and she wears a red ribbon in her hair. Ricsia Species: Balletfight Pokemon Type: Fighting Evolves into: Ricslash at Lv. 30 Gender Distribution: Female-100%, Male-0% Ability: Bravery-Fighting and Normal type moves are effective against Ghost-types. Appearance: Ricsia looks like a Kirlia in Hitmonchan's outfit, except the skirt part trails down a little bit more. Ricsia's legs are thicker than a Kirlia's. Ricsia has feet because she has no Psychic powers to help resist the pull of gravity. Ricsia has blond hair and two small ribbons in it. Ricslash Species: Balletfight Pokemon Type: Fighting Gender Distribution: Female-100%, Male-0% Ability: Bravery-Fighting and Normal type moves are effective against Ghost-types. Appearance: Ricslash looks like Gardevoir with an outfit that looks like Ricsia's, only more gown-like. Ricslash has green arms with retractable blades on her elbows. Just like Ricsia, Ricslash has thicker legs than her Psychic counter-part and has feet. Ricslash doesn't have as puffy a hairstyle as Gardevoir. Scatana(Sc(yther)+katana Bug/Steel Looks sleek and metallic, with the same body look as Scyther/Scizzor. It has metallic, katana-looking wings. Sort of like Skarmory's wings. Also, its arms are steel-looking and short, but its hands look like 2 katana and one tanto per hand. Hold up your index and middle finger and your thumb, and picture them as 2 katana and one tanto (the shortish blade that some ninja/samurai carry) and you have the hand I'm talking about. The feet- Small, Charmander-ish silver colored feet. Only new move that I've thought of- Silent Slash. Like a quick attack-vice grip combo, with sword hands. Ouch. Stats-Attack, defense, and speed are through the roof. It's hp and special defense are actually lower than Scyther/Scizor. Evolution-Max out Scizor's toughness rating Heh. Rough idea, but cool. And my even less developed pure-ice type. (S)He looks like an Ice Lancer from Legend of Zelda-Twilight Princess. Except screw the lance and give her/him a halberd that looks like it's removeable, but is really attached to his/her hand. It should be extendable too, which is why it should be able to learn water freeze(better name needed,) a move which extends the halberd by spitting water on it then freezing it. Appearance: Octimecho's main body is round and colored yellow. Octimecho has the same growth on it's head as a Chimecho. Octimecho has a long red tail on the back of it's body.
